As the weather in Colorado gets colder and colder, do you find it harder and harder to drag yourself out of your nice, warm bed in the morning?
It's not your fault. That's just science.
According to a new study, it's harder to get our brains to wake up and activate when it's cold outside.
Basically, they found the parts of our brain that are normally activated by daylight in the morning get shut back down by the cold . . . so it takes a lot of extra effort to wake up and get out of bed.
Next time you're late to work, just show this to your boss!
