First In-N-Out announced they're coming to Colorado Springs, now another of our favorite companies will join them in Southern Colorado as Southwest Airlines announced today they'll start flying out of the Colorado Springs airport in early 2021.
Up to this point, Coloradans who wanted to fly on Southwest would have to travel to Denver. The Colorado Springs Airport is currently serviced by four airlines: American Airlines, Delta, Frontier and United.
“We are thrilled to welcome Southwest Airlines to our community and look forward to the positive economic and cultural impact it will have,” Colorado Springs Mayor John Suthers said in a release. “Whenever I have discussed air service in Colorado Springs with our citizens, they inevitably ask about Southwest Airlines."
