Surprisingly, Colorado Does Not Have the Most Breweries

It sure seems like when things are normal you hear about a new brewer popping up in Colorado weekly. So, if I had the chance I would have bet good money Colorado has more breweries than any other state... I would have been wrong!

A new study looked into which states have had the most and least breweries spring up during the craft beer rush over the past few decades.

The 10 states with the most craft breweries per capita are: Vermont . . . Maine . . . Montana . . . Colorado . . . Oregon . . . Wyoming . . . New Hampshire . . . Alaska . . . Washington . . . and New Mexico.

And the 10 states with the fewest craft breweries per capita are: Mississippi . . . Louisiana . . . Alabama . . . Georgia . . . Texas . . . Utah . . . Oklahoma . . . Arkansas . . . New Jersey . . . and Nevada.

(Here's a map showing every state's ranking.)
