78-Year-Old Colorado Lady is Sending 40,000 Personal Xmas Cards to Troops

Imagine being stationed overseas during the holidays... It's a tough thought! One Colorado lady knows how tough it must be, so she is sending a little piece of home overseas to troops stationed there this holiday season.

Marlys Halbeisen, 78, had a husband who was in the military and served in the Korean War, so it's a cause that is near and dear to her heart.

She started sending Christmas cards to the troops in 2018. That year she personalized and sent 2,700. Last year she did 18,000. And this year with some extra free time and a bunch of people who donated and helped she is sending over 40,000!
