Some people just seem to be made for each other, like this bride and groom who tied the knot over the weekend in Colorado. Lacey and Tyler got married on Valentine’s Day, but not just because it’s considered the most romantic day of the year. It turns out, they both have birthdays on February 14th.
And making it even more special? The newlyweds are now Mr. and Mrs. Valentine because that’s Tyler’s last name and Lacey is taking his name. They say that over the years, they’ve had to pull out their IDs to prove they share a birthday and now it’ll be to show they’re the Valentines who were both born on Valentine’s Day.
The couple will now be celebrating their wedding anniversary, their birthdays and Valentine’s Day on the same day. They joke that they were kicking off the celebration combo by having their wedding cake do double duty as a birthday cake. At their black and red themed wedding, Tyler talked about how fate brought them together. “It’s funny how the world works and how things were aligned perfectly for us to meet and become partners for life,” the groom said.
