Scott and Sadie,
I got divorced when I was 35 and our kids were 10 and 12.
My ex was an addict and I have never desired to ever be with anyone else- just take care of me and my kids. I've lived for them.
It's been an amazing life with them watching them grow but now I'm lost. They've grown and moved away for school and now I'm an empty nester to the letter.
I feel so alone what do I do now? I don't want to find a mate because I don't want to deal with anyone's baggage and drama.
Is this what happens to people that become empty nesters? I feel like no one has ever talked about it? Maybe in Life Court, your listeners could relate or offer suggestions.
I feel lost.
