Every weekday Shawn Patrick sheds some light on some good news with His Good Vibes Story. Here is today's...

A California couple who had an empty nest after their five adult children moved out has adopted seven siblings from foster care. Pam Willis saw the story about the brothers and sisters in need of a permanent home after their parents were killed in a car accident and it stuck with her.

“I can’t explain it,” she says, “I just knew I was supposed to be their mom.” She and her husband, Gary, have been foster parents before, but she was ready to make these kids a part of their family forever. They had been in foster care for more than a year by the time the kids came to live with them and now Adelino, 15, Ruby, 13, Aleecia, nine, Anthony, eight, Aubriella, seven, Leo, five, and Xander, four, are part of the Willis’ big, happy family.

“They’ve given us a second chance at parenting, we’ve given them a second Mom and Dad,” Pam explains. “They are our Second Chance Seven.”
