GOOD VIBES - Musician Livestreaming Performance On Twitch Gets $85K In Tips

Every weekday Shawn Patrick sheds some light on some good news with His Good Vibes Story. Here is today's...

A guy who was playing guitar to zero people on Twitch had the night of his life after crypto fanatics found him. Cameron Ferguson was playing online when a user named Cobie was looking for small streamers. Cobie hosts a show called “Up Early” and liked what he heard, so he decided to help drive people his way.

Cobie told Ferguson to create a Twitter account and to get on the cryptocurrency app Blockfolio so people could donate to him. Then over the course of his performance, donations started rolling in to the musician. Ferguson was confused, but grateful, admitting he had “no idea what was going on.”

After his five-hour stream, he’d racked up more than $85-thousand in donations, thanks to the crypto crowd. Afterwards, he used his brand-new Twitter account to post his first tweet ever thanking everyone for their support.
