Is a vacation alone a red flag? You decide in Scott and Sadie's Life Court!

Here is Monday's Life Court...

Scott and Sadie,

I have been dating a guy for three years and he's pretty awesome. We've lived together for the last two years. We've both been married twice before and are not over-eager to tie the knot a third time - so we slow to jump into our third marriage. For all intents and purposes, we're married, without the legal entanglement.

We have traveled and vacationed together and we really enjoy doing that. This weekend he told me that he has booked a long weekend away. He's traveling to Naples, has rented a house for four nights, and he told me he just wants to be alone, read, journal, pray, and get his head right.

I've asked him if I have done anything wrong. He says we are fine and that he loves me. He just wants some time to be alone. He didn't talk to me about it or say anything - he just booked his vacation for one.

Is this odd? A red flag? I keep trying to talk to him about it, but I think he's starting t get annoyed with me. He assures me that it's nothing - he just wants some time alone.

I'd love to hear what your listeners think in Life Court.
