Firefighters in St. Charles, Missouri, went above and beyond to help a woman in an emergency. Robetta Poss is an Instacart driver who had customers waiting for her when she was involved in a car accident.
Poss had just dropped her son off at work when she was hit by a car, leaving her car totaled. Even worse? She still had three delivered to make that day. With her paycheck on the line, the firefighters who responded to the crash took over and made the deliveries for her. She is so grateful for their act of kindness that kept her from losing money on top of everything else.
“There needs to be more people like them,” Poss says. “I know it’s their job to help out, but they didn't have to take that extra step and deliver them for me.”
