Are you worried about robots taking your job? Or are there parts of it you'd LOVE to pass off on them?
The average worker wasted five hours this week on tasks that could be automated, according to a new poll.
The top things we'd love to see automated are: Sending emails . . . scheduling meetings . . . doing data entry . . . talking to our BOSS . . . and dealing with customers. We're not sure how realistic those last two are.
Here are four more quick stats . . .
1. Seven in 10 employees wish they could spend more time on "high-value" tasks at work. So stuff that can't be automated.
2. 69% feel like they just do the same thing over and over again each day. And 68% wish their job wasn't so monotonous.
3. Two-thirds said they'd be more likely to stay at their current job if they got to learn new skills. Close to 90% said they actually DID learn new skills this past year.
4. The top things that make us more confident at work are: Learning new skills . . . getting a promotion . . . being given more responsibility . . . and getting a raise.
