We're Less Likely to See a Doctor if the Reason Makes Us Feel Old

As we continue getting older, we'll obviously continue being in DENIAL about it too . . . even if it KILLS us. Three out of five Americans admitthey're more likely to put off seeing a doctor if the reason for their visit makes them feel OLD.

That means everything from back problems to cholesterol checks. And two-thirds of us would also put off a doctor's visit if it was for something "taboo" or embarrassing like a prostate check.

Around 70% of us have canceled, postponed, or avoided a doctor's appointment in the past year. But it wasn't always our fault. Almost half of those people said the pandemic forced them to do it.

Hear Scott and Sadie's take on the story here...
