Googling your own name isn't a bad idea. You should know what other people can find out about you, especially if you're looking for a job. But some of us are WAY too into ourselves.
A new surveyfound one in 11 Americans google themselves EVERY DAY. And another 5% said about once a week.
Almost 25% of people do it at least once a month. And another 20% said at least once a year. Just over half of us do it less often than that, or have never googled ourselves.
