Every weekday Shawn Patrick sheds some light on some good news with His Good Vibes Story. Here is today's...

A little girl in New Hampshire just shaved off all her hair for a good cause. Vivian Meyer told her mom that she wanted to shave her head six months ago, but she had a good reason. After losing three grandparents to cancer, this nine-year-old wanted to honor them by fundraising for kids with cancer.

The third-grader was also inspired to get the cut after one of her teachers shaved her head after losing her son to the disease. Her goal was to raise $500, but by the time the shaving started at the Buzz Off for Kids with Cancer event, Vivian had raised more than $3-thousand.

“It’s really cool that everybody did it and donated a lot of money,” she says. Now she’s enjoying her new short hairdo and she says, “It feels good because when they rub it, it tickles.”
