There's a New Baby Hippo at a Colorado Zoo

Are hippos not the ugliest, yet cutest animals ever? I think so, and especially now after seeing pictures of the new baby in Colorado.

This is the first baby hippo at Colorado Springs' Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in 32 years.

According to KRDO:

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo announced the new calf on Wednesday, saying their 28-year-old hippopotamus, Zambezi, gave birth Tuesday afternoon with "a little splash and some adorable baby hippo ear wiggles."

The zoo says the new baby hippo is their first in over three decades, and the good news is you can visit them right now at the Water's Edge: Africa exhibit.
