Coors is getting into the spirits game.
The Coors Whiskey company is launching its own Five Trail blended American whiskey on September 1st, using Coors malt and Rocky Mountain water; the same ingredients used to make its beer.
The whiskey is produced in partnership with Kentucky's Bardstown Bourbon Company for a 42.5 ABV at $60 a bottle.
The company plans to add more limited-edition whiskeys or even change the whiskey's profile each year.
