Every weekday Shawn Patrick sheds some light on some good news with His Good Vibes Story. Here is today's...

A Colorado girl and her dad just wrapped up a very special summer trip. Kevin and Abby Sanderford started a cross-country trip on June 7th in Washington state and just finished in Bar Harbor, Maine. And they did it all on a tandem bicycle.

The nine-year-old and her father spent their summer vacation cycling across the U.S., traveling more than 4-thousand miles in two months. It became a charity ride that supports Tough Enough to Wear Pink, a nonprofit that helps those battling breast cancer and their families. Kevin’s wife, Jennifer, was diagnosed with breast cancer in January and after having surgery in April, she is doing well.

The pair spent the last two months riding from coast to coast, only taking a day off every 10 days, and it’s not the most challenging thing Abby has encountered. When asked what’s harder than bike riding, she replies, “Math homework.”
