Pumpkin Spice Lattes returned to Starbucks today, and that will get all the headlines, but as I was there getting one I noticed they had a new item and I tried it instead. The Apple Crisp Macchiato may now be my favorite coffee drink ever!
The drink was developed after the “tasting and testing a bushel of apple-flavored favorites, including apple maple syrup, apple cider donuts and a variety of apple pies, cakes, and crisps."
You can get the new drink hot or cold. The press release said, "If the hot version is like warm apple pie, the iced version is like apple pie à la mode, with the warm flavors of apple and brown sugar combined with milk and ice, and also topped with apple caramel drizzle."
