Every weekday Shawn Patrick sheds some light on some good news with His Good Vibes Story. Here is today's...

A bride recently showed up at her own wedding in the back of a cop car, but she was actually grateful. Lydia Evans-Hughs was on her way to walk down the aisle in the U.K. when the vintage car she was riding in broke down while heading to the church.

There she was, all decked out in her wedding gown, and stranded on the side of the highway. Luckily for her, a kind police officer drove past and stopped to help. Inspector Matt Geddes gave the bride and her parents a ride to the wedding and even helped them make a memorable entrance by turning on the flashing lights and sirens as they pulled up to the church.

Because everything happened so fast, Evans-Hughs says she was hardly even late to her own wedding. “I’m just incredibly happy,” she says. “It was such a lovely evening … I hope it will be smooth sailing now and we can settle down and enjoy married life.”
