Shania Twain reflected on her biggest onstage malfunction, and itās probably not what youād expect.
The global superstar sat down with Kelly Clarkson on the original American Idol champās daytime talkshow, The Kelly Clarkson Show, on Thursday morning (February 2). Clarkson and Twain were talking about quick wardrobe changes during live performances, and how challenging and āexhaustingā it is to switch looks in a short amount of time (Clarkson said, because of a zipper, her dress nearly came off completely, āand I was commandoā underneath).
Twainās biggest mishap, however, was a bit different:
āā¦Actually, the biggest mishap Iāve had on stage was with my horse. One time, my horse was on stage, drops a big poop ā and itās big, and itās steamy and itās stinky, you know ā I mean, not for me. I love the smell of horse poop. Everything I own smells like horse poop. But, it was just really awkward, so I just had to say, āwell, (expletive) happens!āā
Twain is gearing up for a massive international tour in 2023, in support of her highly-anticipated album, Queen of Me, which is set to make its long-awaited debut on Friday (February 3). The award-winning singer-songwriter has previously shared how her Queen of Me era aims to celebrate being comfortable in her own skin. She previously opened up about posing nude in a photoshoot. Twain said on The Kelly Clarkson Show:
āI think itās just very important to be comfortable in our own skin⦠I always did [have a problem with nudity]. Iām one of those people that never enjoyed looking in the mirror with the lights on, and now Iām 57. ā¦If I donāt learn to love what Iām looking at in the mirror now, Iām gonna hate myself tomorrow! ā¦So, I said, āIām gonna start right now.ā So, I did that photoshoot, I did a lot of nude photos, I forced myself under lights, in front of the cameras with the crew there. Iām taking these pictures, Iām marking this day as, āthis is the best Iām going to look anyway, forever, so I might as well own that and enjoy it while Iāve got whatever that is, at 57.āā
