Luke Combs shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the “Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma” music video on Thursday (May 30). The rock-infused single was the first to release from the star-studded Twisters album earlier this month.

Combs and the rest of the band and crew filmed the video in a wide open space in Dickson, Tennessee, outside of Nashville. Combs said in the behind-the-scenes video it was a “super long day, but I think it’s gonna be worth it.” The behind-the-scenes look shows how he and the band performed in what looked like an intense storm in the finished video, which also includes a cameo from NASCAR race driver John Hunter Nemechek. It was all directed by Alex Bittan.

“I keep chasin’ that same old devil down the same old dead end highway/ Ridin’ that storm runnin’ through my veins like a shot down tail spun airplane/ Scared of nothin’ and I’m scared to death/ I can’t breathe then I catch my breath/ But I keep chasin’ that same old devil down the same old dead end highway
“Ain’t no love in Oklahoma/ Just the whistle of a long black train/ You’ll know when it’s comin’ for ya/ Ridin’ in on the wind and rain”

The Twisters album also includes tracks by Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Megan Moroney, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Shania Twain and many others. After “Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma,” Bailey Zimmerman released his song from the album, “Hell or High Water.” The Lee Isaac Chung-directed film will serve as “an update to the 1996 film 'Twister', which centered on a pair of storm chasers who risk their lives in an attempt to test an experimental weather alert system,” per its description on IMDb. The cast includes Glen PowellKaty O’Brian and Daisy Edgar-Jones, among others. Twisters — the movie and the album — will arrive on July 19.
