Tanner Adell embraced a full circle moment with a trailblazing artist on Christmas.
The “Whiskey Blues” artist shared a clip on Instagram on Wednesday (December 25), reminiscing on her emotional reactions to Beyoncé’s concert and listening to her own voice on Beyoncé’s history-making COWBOY CARTER record that released earlier this year. Now, Adell spent Christmas Day performing with Beyoncé and other powerhouse singer-songwriters during the star-studded NFL Halftime Show during the Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans game at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
Adell reunited with Brittney Spencer, Reyna Roberts and Tiera Kennedy to perform with Beyoncé during Queen Bey’s headlining halftime performance. The quartet is featured on “BLACKBIIRD” on COWBOY CARTER, Beyoncé’s country-themed album that includes collaborations with some of the genre’s hottest rising stars and most influential legends. some of the other artists featured on COWBOY CARTER include Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Linda Martell, Post Malone, Shaboozey and more.
The “BLACKBIIRD” singers shared Adell’s sentiment as they shared clips and photos from their performance with Beyoncé on Instagram. Spencer said it was the “best Christmas ever.” Roberts savored “an incredible night and a dream come true! I used to pray for this day.” Kennedy wrote that the performance an “incredible moment that I’ll cherish forever,” and said, “for all the beautiful Black girls out there, I hope you see this as a testament that you can be whoever you want to be and do whatever you set your mind to.”
