Lainey Wilson caught social media’s attention with a teaser she posted on Friday morning (January 30).
The 2026 Grammy nominee shared a silent, black-and-white reel on Instagram with the simple caption, “cantsitstill.com,” which leads visitors to the same clip with audio. Commenters expressed excitement, and some said they couldn’t wait for a new single; however, Wilson has not officially announced new music or a possible release date as of publication time.
Wilson’s latest studio record is Whirlwind, her 2024 album that she expanded into a 19-track deluxe edition in August 2025. The Louisiana-born country star’s Whirlwind era includes the title track, “Keep Up With Jones,” “Country’s Cool Again,” “Good Horses” with Miranda Lambert, “Hang Tight Honey,” “Bar In Baton Rouge,” “4x4x,” “Somewhere Over Laredo” and more. Wilson is nominated in the Best Country Solo Performance category for “Somewhere Over Laredo” at the 2026 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 1). She’s also up for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Trailblazer, her collaboration with Lambert and Reba McEntire, and Best Country Song for “Somewhere Over Laredo.”
Wilson is among the country artists nominated at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards, returning this spring to Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. See the list of country artists nominated here.
