Martha is a 3-year-old Neapolitan Mastiff with jowls the size of picnic blankets, and was crowned the World's Ugliest Dog at the 29th annual Petaluma World's Ugliest Dog competition on Saturday.
"She's a 125-pound, drooling, snoring, gassy loud, and silly girl," says Shirley Dawn Zindler, who is fostering Martha. "She knocks over every water bucket no matter how securely attached to the fence. She bosses the other dogs around and makes sure all guests are suitably slimed on arrival."
Martha, a rescue who was found nearly blind until a series of surgeries saved her eyesight, won $1,500 and a trip to New York to show off for the masti...uh, masses.
