Thomas Rhett 'Nervous' About Remembering His Own Lyrics

Thomas Rhett is eager to get back to his fans as he prepares to play a lineup of shows at Billy Bob's Texas in Fort Worth.

The esteemed concert hall has been a notable venue for many artists, but most recently for Miranda Lambert, who broke down sobbing on the concert hall stage.

In a recent interview with Cody Alan, Thomas explains why performing again will be emotional, and he is both "nervous" and "excited."

"Man, I am nervous," says the country singer. "I haven't been nervous in a year and a half. You know? Especially for anything music-wise. I think when you tour as hard as we have, you get into this flow like, "I know how to do this, and when you stop for a moment, you are like, "Do I know how to do this?"

"I am really excited to get back with the band and sing into a microphone and see if I actually remember all of the words to my songs," laughs the "Crash and Burn" singer.

"But to get back into that "entertainer role" and just watching people scream again, me and the band are really looking forward to that," shared Thomas.

Thomas recently celebrated his new album, 'Country Again (Side A)', during an exclusive iHeartCountry Album Release Party, performing some of the new songs live for the first time.

Thomas also dropped a spoiler alert for fans, teasing that new music could be on the way.
