The Denver Nuggets became the 12th team in NBA history to come back to win a playoff series after being down 3 games to 1 to the Utah Jazz. This was a must watch series due to the unbelievable performances from Nugget's point guard Jamal Murray and Jazz's point guard Donavon Mitchell.
With a majority of the first 6 games coming down to the wire, game 7 was no different. After A dominant first half by Denver, Donavon Mitchell would come out for the second half with a fire lit inside of him that would help his team come back and stay within 2 points for the rest of the game. In the final moments of play the score was tied at 78. Nugget's superstar center Nikola Jokic would score with a hook shot that would give the Nuggets a 2 point lead. After in bounding the ball, Donovan would get the ball taken away from him and the Nuggets would drive down and try to lay it up to pad the score, however Torrey Craig would miss the lay up leading to Utah's Mike Conley leading a fast break down the court and with only 2 seconds left on the clock Conley put up a three pointer that almost went in but the ball hit the rim. Denver held on and won with the final score being Denver Nuggets 80 Utah Jazz 78.
The Denver Nuggets will meet the Los Angeles Clippers in the next round of the playoffs.
