Kirby Smart, up for National Coach of The Year, talked today about the pressure The Dawgs Face being #1 and SEC East Champs for the 5th time in 6 years.

The UGA Bulldogs have clinched a spot in the SEC Championship game for another year. They will face LSU on in Atlanta on Dec. 3rd at 4 p.m.

Smart talked in a presser today about being the #1 ranked team in the country again and fighting for a second straight Championship. He said, "you wanna be the best... you gotta do it better than anyone else in your profession." He said "sometimes people get comfortable" and that's a big pitfall to success. "We're trying our best to be at our best. That's our job," Smart told reporters.

The Bulldogs remain undefeated and improved to 10-0 overall and 7-0 in SEC play.

“Our team was resilient and fought and did what we asked of them,” Georgia head coach Kirby Smart said after the win against Miss State. “I am so proud of them. This is a tough environment, but our kids respected the environment and the momentum and the rhythm. I appreciate how we prepared in the right way, a very mature way. We never take winning the East for granted and that’s where we are now, but we’re playing for more than the East. We’ve got some things to clean up, so it’s one day at a time.”
