It Looks Like We May Have a Rare Colorado Halloween Snowstorm

It seems like it snows on Halloween a lot in Colorado, but in reality it is hardly ever. There has only been measurable snow ten times since 1940 on Colorado's front range. But it looks like number 11 may be this year...

According to 9News:

Computer forecast models are showing a trough developing north of Colorado on Monday. The severity of the storm will depend on where the main piece of vorticity sets up, and whether it stacks down to the surface.

Right now they are saying it could be anything between a light dusting and a full-on winter storm, but it looks like it is inevitably going to be way colder than we have seen on Halloween in years.
