There Was a Giant Fireball in the Colorado Sky Last Night - What Was It?

Sometime between 7:50 and 8:00 p.m. last night, a bunch of people in Colorado saw a large fireball shoot across the sky.

Looking at the video, this was no shooting star or aircraft...

According to the Denver Astronomical Society, the fireball was most likely a meteor from the Geminid meteor shower, but that hasn’t yet been confirmed.

That doesn't sit well with me... What if it would have hit us?!
