If you've driven in Northern Colorado over the course of the last five years or so, you have likely sat in traffic on I-25 at some point. With population increasing exponentially, it is time for major roads to expand as well.
Thankfully that will finally be happening on I-25.
"The Colorado Department of Transportation announced on Thursday it signed a $248 million contract to widen I-25. The multiyear project will add a paid express lanes in both directions between Fort Collins and Johnstown, as well as other infrastructure improvements in the area."
They hope to start the project this year, and have it completed by 2020.
