Tragic events often bring amazing stories of courage, and that is exactly the case as a kid who got shot in the neck six years ago, is now living his dream of being on an NFL team.
Zack Golditch was at the Century Aurora 16 movie theater during a midnight screening of the film “The Dark Knight Rises” on July 20, 2012 when a gunman began opening fire. He was shot in the neck.
Nearly six years later, he has overcome those horrific events and landed on an NFL roster. Although he was not picked in the NFL Draft, he was signed quickly after by the Los Angeles Rams.
Last season he was a first-team All-Mountain West pick for the Colorado State Rams.
He said "I take nothing for granted. This opportunity to continue to live my life today is amazing."
