Greeley High School Teacher Jumps Into Lake to Save Child

I went to Greeley West High School, so I am on some of their feeds on social media, and today I am happy I am because I saw a story about one of my former teachers that needs to be seen by the world!

A story in the high school's newspaper, West Word, describes an incident on Tuesday where the health teacher saved a little girl's life at a local park.

Mr. Brian Holmes was taking his class to Sanborn Park and then to Baskin Robins to celebrate the end of the school year, when he witnessed a 3 to 4-year-old girl fall into the lake. He jumped in, pulled her to safety, and reunited her with her family.

Knowing Mr. Holmes, it doesn't surprise me a bit, and just makes me thankful for the little girl and her family that they had such a good man in the right place at the right time.
