How Patriotic is Colorado Compared to Other States?

When I think of Colorado I certainly think we are pretty darn patriotic. I also think of things like people flying flags on their porch, eating apple pie, and watching baseball, as patriotic things. The folks at Wallethub have a different formula.

In order to determine where Americans bleed the most red, white and blue, WalletHub compared the states across 13 key indicators of patriotism. Their data set ranges from share of enlisted military population to share of adults who voted in the 2016 presidential election to AmeriCorps volunteers per capita.

Colorado came in at number 6. Our neighbors to the north in Wyoming got the number 3 spot, and Virginia was the top dog. Meanwhile, Massachusetts was the least patriotic.
