Fort Collins' Chocolate Cafe Closes

There are few restaurants dedicated only to desert, but we had a great one in Northern Colorado... Keyword "had."

The Chocolate Cafe closed its doors for good on Tuesday.

A sign on the 102 W. Olive St. dessert shop signed by owner Mike Del Duca said the closure was "due to a serious illness."

A message on the restaurant's website says this;

Due to a serious illness, The Chocolate Cafe will be closing it's doors on July 31, 2018.

I wish to thank our patrons, guests, and friends for 12 year of faithful support.

It is with great regret that I had to make this decision but it is one that had to be made.

Please remember to use you purchased gift card and Groupon vouchers before the closing date.

Thank you

Mike
