Other highlights among this year's contenders include a fried-orange-flavored chiffon cake, bacon brittle, and deep-fried lobster pops. T
he chefs behind these dishes are competing for one of three titles: Best Taste -- Sweet, Best Taste -- Savory and, of course, Most Creative. The event kicks off September 28.
