Colorado is about to get a "spaceport." Just like an airport, but for things that fly to space. Sounds cool right?
Well I agree, except I have been watching Stranger Things, and now I am concerned about the research that might be doing inside this thing...
On a serious note, the Federal Aviation Administration has granted a delegation of Adams County officials a site operating license that allows for a spaceport on Colorado's eastern plains, only the eleventh such license that the federal agency has approved in the U.S.
The pre-existing Front Range Airport, which is located just southeast of Denver International Airport, near Watkins, will now become the Colorado Air and Space Port.
It even looks like something from out of this world!
